Hydro Changing Speed Signs

It's almost as if people forget how to drive when it rains.

In South Africa 16% of accidents on our roads are caused by Environmental effects, 42.6% of which were caused by rain and slippery road surfaces. Speeding in wet weather can cause your car to aquaplane therefore increasing your risk of an accident.

Major highways around Cape Town such as the N1,N2 and R310 will have transparent stickers placed over the current speed signs. In rain the once transparent Hydro Chromic stickers will fill with an opaque white and read a new speed that is safe for rain travel.
