Founded by Daniel Silva Oscar in 1957, This typography is one of the last still working in Portugal. It continues to use the original machines. Currently it has only two employees, Mr. Marcelino, printer, working with typography for 36 years, and Mr. Emanuel, composer. The most requested jobs are printing requisitions, delivery notes, personal cards and wedding invitations. The biggest number of prints were for a meteorological telegram. The characters came from Spain, at the time they acquired the machines, existing characters in lead (smaller) and wood (larger). No one knows for sure how many fonts exist in typography, but whenever there is a request with a new font, they produce it on a computer and then playback via zincography.
