Tourism Services to Brazilians

This project was made for my class Graphic Design Studio II at the Savannah College of Art and Design. The essence is to increase the Brazilians tourists’ awareness of the opportunities and experiences that may have in Miami, concerning mainly the cultural life. For this purpose, four materials were designed: identity and logotype, travel guide brochure, travel guide app and magazine advertising. The idea was to create a predominantly visual travel guide for easy and quick access to information.
The concept is based on the phrase "uncover opportunities" and talks about experiences tourists enjoy while traveling and the things they discover and perceive.

All the textual information is based on the existing guide: DK Eyewitness Top 10 Travel Guide: Miami & the Keys, from the publisher: Dorling Kindersley. None of the images belong to me.

Travessa is a portuguese word that means the act or effect of crossing and also a narrow or short street that links two main streets. The word transmits the essence of the travel guide that talks to people who want to go from one place to another and have a different experience. The logotype represents the cross walk in the street and also the connections and continuity of people flow. It also shows the letter T which represents the word Travessa.
