Individual Project 2: Visualizing Information and Data

Designers Statement: I utilized Adobe Spark Page for my presentation software in order to house and showcase information pertaining to current industrial farming--also known with the colloquial moniker of 'factory farms.' I gathered facts from a variety of websites and made sure there were a diversity of sources and viewpoints. In other words, I went beyond just PETA, and remained mindful enough to pull from 'mainstream' media outlets that don't otherwise hold a political leaning, one way or the other, in terms of factory farming. I then organized and translated the data through visual graphics, thanks to the free software available on Infogram. For any additional information, as well as to check my statistics and figures, I have provided the citations for all outside material. Overall, my goal was to condense a plethora of information into a straightforward presentation that can be enjoyed either in public with the supplement of an oral speaker or in isolation on a computer screen.
