The Grand National. The longest and most famous race in the horse racing calendar.
This project represents William Hill's off-air campaign for the 2018 Grand National, which focussed on novice punters, that weren't too familiar with horse racing, rather than traditional fans of the sport. 'Name Your Winner' was used as a generic campaign title, which suggested customers chose a horse based on a name they liked or a favoured jockey's silk.
The basis for the creative style derives from the colourful and iconic jockeys' silks. Each frame below represents the final fifty declared horses which have been illustrated in corresponding colours and patterns based on their owner's silks.
