Overview.
KIN is a sci-fi film directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker and written by Daniel Casey, based on the 2014 short film Bag Man. The film stars Jack Reynor, Zoë Kravitz, Carrie Coon, Dennis Quaid, James Franco, and Myles Truitt. The story follows a young boy who finds a strange weapon and his newly paroled brother.
MPC Design was asked to design and animate the opening title credits. Once a concept was agreed upon we moved onto creating a original typeface for the film to be used both in the opening titles sequence but also utilized in all the marketing for the film.
