This is part of the work I made for Splendor Parthenopes, a typical neapolitan restaurant in the center of Rome, where you can have a pizza, a cocktail, a plate of pasta al ragù or you can taste the famous neapolitan pastry as babà or sfogliatelle.
Parthenopes is the name of the mermaid that, according to legend, founded the city of Naples.
I made this handmade illustrations to give life and irony to the brand, according to the spirit of the neapolitan culture. I have also make illustrations of some typical neapolitan food for the web site of the restaurant (www.splendorparthenopes.com) and for the menu.
