AYOKA (a-yo-ka) is a greeting in the Dida language in Cote d’Ivoire. It can be used at any time of the day and evokes a feeling of well being and warmth. It is also used in some parts of West Africa as a girl’s name meaning joy.

AYOKA is also the business name for Jeanette Krabill, a local seamstress who specializes in European style children’s clothing, in addition to purses, bags, pillows and other home decor.
Following a full career in public schools as a teacher, Jeanette took her hobby into the professional realm, launching AYOKA in 2016.
