I traveled to North East China for the first time in January 2012.

It was really cold, temperature was around -30C.

The village is called "Bei Hong Village", the northest village of china, a very simple and primitive settlement with around 300 viligers. Their main activity is local farming but during the cold hard winter, they usally stay inside and timber woods. Cows and pigs will not be kept inside houses during winter, they are like having a holiday, walking and eating around the village, so free and relaxing.
