Interior design and Branding 2018 ©

Passepartout is a 27 m2 accessories store with a variety of handmade jewels, chic style bags and skin care products. The interior design was undertaken by Harris Souliotis and his Lab4 architects partners while the branding identity was created by Bill Pappas.
The tiny space surface led practically to specific design manipulations in order to achieve its optical enlargement. In this direction, large in length shields were placed in most of the walls as well as a background mirror coated the great wall opposite of the entrance. A central stand of products is placed in the middle of the store, contributing to the horizontal space enlargement. Furthermore, its central placement defines visitors’ motion in the space. The ceiling design “reflects” the visitors’ motions within the store. Through a curved angle shape, it adds a more dynamic sense to the whole space, giving a feeling of “speed”. In addition to this, slots of led tubes and wall round lights complete the dynamic overall result. The color palette consists of a series of grey shades in combination with RAF blue. A walnut wood effect vinyl floor adds the appropriate warm sense in the store. The overall result constitutes a smooth background for the products and a sense of calmness for the visitors as well. The branding identity design provides an extra touch of elegance.
The logo takes inspiration from the characteristic paper birds which recall memories from childhood, combining its flying shape with the dynamic interior design forms.
