A body of work in progress: A daily three hundred kilometer commute, in a mini cooper, becomes a liminal space at the boundaries between consumption as a mode of production (also a riff on Duchamp). These drawings are meant to question the function of art as a studio practice, with works emerging as part of my daily life moving across the prairie landscape. Reassembling time spent on the road as marks of visual data, the drawings will form a document of fleeting moments and creative mobile projects.
