Montréal 2015-2016
In 2015 I began outdoor painting in hopes to get better at using color. It was really fun experience being outside under different weather conditions and trying to figure out how to translate the colors I saw onto the paper. I made a ton of mistakes, like forgetting to wear exta warm clothes in the winter or an umbrella when it rained and scrapped a lot of paintings but ultimately I think it was worth it. Below are a selection of paintings from distinct areas in the city.
