Creating a more Inclusive On-Boarding Process for Women

"Not Just Potholes" - Exploring interventions for more inclusive onboarding process for women on ride sharing platforms
As part of our interdisciplinary studio where we had to explore ride sharing systems at scale, we identified the problem of lack of female drivers on these platforms and hence, we devised interventions to make the onboarding process on ride sharing platforms easier and more inclusive. Read the complete case study here.
Solution 1:
A board game that allows the players to be in the shoes of the woman driver and experience challenges on Indian roads while accepting rides as a taxi driver. This game was made with the intention to encourage healthy dialogue among the stakeholders in the woman's life and hence help create a more healthy, positive, supportive and encouraging atmosphere if the woman decides to take up driving as a profession.
The various situation cards (challenges, unexpected situations and opportunities) and the solution cards used in the game that mimic the real-world scenarios in the most engaging and interactive way, will not only educate the players regarding various circumstances that one can encounter while driving, but also fill the persisting knowledge gap.

Solution 2:
This is a digitized version of the above board game:
