I was an illustrator for a college-student run newspaper called The Leader. Each week, all the illustrators would choose articles that need illustrations. One of the articles being the Fredonia Mini Maker Faire. The requirement for the illustration was to have a graphic relative to farming, engineering and writing. Then add the text of Fredonia Mini Maker Faire somewhere in the design. After revising the illustration, I thought it would be interesting to see it as a mailer.
