EDF Energy commission shoot of a hydroelectric turbine in the Lake District. 

Water is collected and sent down a pipe to the turbine which generates electricity that supplies power to high capacity batteries at the youth hostel. The hydroelectric turbine generates enough electricity to run a youth hostel's day to day business, which till now, used a diesel powered generator.
