Corporate Identity (Hockey club: Panthers)

For this project, we needed to create a corporate identity for a client. We had a choice of 9 clients where I chose to create a corporate identity for a sports team. We could decide what team we wanted to create the corporate identity for. I decided to create a hockey team called Panthers. 

The idea for the Panthers Hockey club was to create a team that was for everybody. It didn’t matter what age, gender, skill level or financial status the players had. It was a team that taught people who had no idea how to play hockey as well as help those who are very good at hockey improve their skill. 

The concept for the team was to create a brand that made people feel a part of something and bring people together to play an amazing sport. The idea behind the logo was to have a strong and agile animal as the mascot to showcase that you need to be fast and have the physical to play such a physical sport. It is also recognisable. The pattern was created to create the forward movement which symbolises that the team will keep moving forward and the player will always be taught more as they improve.
