The Sinquefield Effect
Branding, Print Materials & Environmental Graphics
Designed for The Sinquefield Effect: The Resurgence of American Chess, an exhibition at the World Chess Hall of Fame, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Saint Louis Chess Club and the rapid resurgence of chess in the United States. A broadsheet-format exhibition brochure was created to highlight the accomplishments of the Chess Club and environmental graphics transformed the gallery into a multimedia newspaper. The exhibition also debuted the Hall of Fame multi-touch installation, which upgraded the exhibition space from a gallery of static plaques into a growing archive honoring the inductees to the World and U.S. Chess Halls of Fame with biographies, photographs, playable games, and collection highlights for each player.
