The following medium paintings are from the series, “Concurrency,” 2012. Utilizing soft pastel, pen, graphite, ink, tape, and numerous other media on paper, I have been working deeply in abstraction as a means to investigate my surrounding experience. With a tinge of idealism, these works represent the potential for a full range of conditions, emotions, and actions to exist concurrently and, for the most part, productively within a confined place.
