ILLUSTRATION FOR EPIC MEETING ROOM
This project includes four illustrations for four meeting rooms in EPIC (Enterprise Precinct Innovation Centre) Building. The four paintings represent four imaginary meetings in different time and space.
The characters look all surprised and watching outside from the painting, like they feel very confused that don't understand why the strangers( Those who use the meeting room) appear in their meeting. I hope these paintings can make people smile and feel relaxed when they use the meeting room.
I also have another concept for this project. I found there's no window in these meeting rooms, so I wanted to create some "windows" and draw some super heroes outside the "windows". The real window-size printing will make the scenarios look more real.
However, we didn't use this for the final project because we worried about the copyright issues. But I still finished it as a personal project because I really like this idea as well.
SAME NAME CONFUSION
MUSIC ALBUM
Same Name Confusion is a band formed by three engineering students from University of Canterbury in 2016. They invited me to make seven illustrations for their first music album-Same Name Confusion, which includes seven songs. Each illustration is used as a cover for one song on music websites like Soundcloud.
Fritz's Wieners Social Media Animation Project
Fritz's Wieners is a local sausage company that has many chain stores in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurh. I asked to make animations for their social media. Their slogan is " Too good to share."
I recieved the dialogue audio from their marketing manager and made the animation based on it. The 4 video has already got above 160 thousands views in total on their facebook by now.

NICKELODEON
SIMULATION PROJCET
It's a part of a simulation project. We were asked to design an advertisement for Nickelodeon. The whole project has three parts and I was responsible for part two with 2d animation. Here's my work.
"KILLER MACHINE” VISION EFFECTS
This is an assignment during my study at Yoobee School of Design. I need to shoot a 30 second video and add some vision effects to make this video look like a trailer of a Imaginary movie. My movie is about an unlucky guy who touched some thing he should not touch, and lost himself and transformed into a mechanical monster. Can the people live in this small town escape from his chase and survive?
SKETCHES
I drew some sketches and decided to use the character with many eyes. I used the compound eyes of the insect as a reference when I did this setting. I hope this creature can make people feel scared and dangerous.
MODELING
I used black color for the body and added some red light to make this creature loos more dangerous( and try to make it look cool of course).
SHOOTING PROCESS
The scene was shot in Antonio Hall, Christchurch. Antonio Hall was heavily damaged in an earthquake, and then it became a perfect shooting place for film makers of horror films.
The transforming part was shot before a green screen. I wore a green mask on my face as well, which makes it easy to use the 3D model to add the vision effects. The project process gave so much fun to me.

UNIVERSE POSTER / ILLUSTRATION
The poster started with an assignment. I was asked to take some photos, and use these photo to make a poster when I was in college. That was my first assignment there, and I tried to see a bigger world at that time. So I decided to use universe as the theme of the poster. After I finished the assignment, I made some other design for the same theme as well because I find I love this theme so much.
VANS ILLUSTRATION
VANS is one of my favorite brand. Their slogan is " Out of the wall". I made an illustration to show this spirit.
X-MAS CARD COMPETITION
This illustration is made for the Xmas card competition of Yoobee School of Design Christchurch Campus. I was the winner and the illustration was made to an e-card and sent to the all students in Yoobee as a Christmas greeting.

VIMEO MOTION GRAPHIC
This is a Simulation project I did when I studied in college. The requirement is to create a motion graphic animation for a brand by a three-students team. Our teammates include Martin Keith Procter, James Russell and me.
Our animation has three part. In each part there's a character with a "screen head" doing something funny and in the end of each part the camera zooms into the character's face to jump to the next part. I designed the three characters for this project and finished the third part as below.
"TRICK"_ A SHORT HORROR
Tricky is a short film I made in college. I wrote the strory and edited the film. We shot the film by group in Antonio Hall, Christchurch.

故宫文创产品设计
Forbidden City Cultural and Creative Product Design
2014年在公司做了一些故宫文创方面的项目，因为本人比较喜欢文创类的产品，所以项目期间还是非常开心的。挑选了其中的一些放在这里，其中脊兽尺和脸谱口罩已量产，可以在故宫及颐和园买到。故宫的文创现在越做越好，也希望文创产业借助这种势头能在将来收到更多的关注。
The Imperial Palace Museum, was called Forbidden City in the ancient times. I designed some cultural and creative products for it when I worked in Ideadao. Ltd. in 2014. Here's some of them which I like. You can buy the Imperial Roof Decoration Rulers and Peking Opera Masks in the official souvenir shops if you travel to the Imperial Palace and the Summer Palace.
