FRAME Clothing Rails

Garments are made to be displayed, not hidden. The concept behind FRAME originates from Lagom; a Swedish concept of living sustainably and finding a balance at home. Organising articles on display enables the user to build a relationship with them. It is a reminder of what they already own, whether they are happy with those items or decide to then recycle or reuse them. It's to stop the build up of junk found at the back of the closet; those jackets you wore 7 years ago and never think about wearing again.
Apart from domestic use, this design can be used in retail. Another concept I had was to create a city scape inside and open space for a large store or pop up. Using these clothing rails of different heights and widths to display garments, an interesting shopping experience is created.
