With the surge in health and wellness coaches in the past couple years, it can be really hard to stand out in the crowd. Many coaches are turning to the use of Facebook ads to gain new clients and more exposure for their services—but what should you do when your website is flagged and your Facebook business page taken down? 

That’s the issue that Allie was having when we started working together. She had been relying heavily on her Facebook page to book services, but when the content she was sharing on Facebook didn’t match what was on her website, she was flagged and her Facebook page was shut down. (Just when you thought you couldn’t dislike Facebook for small businesses more.)

When we started this project, Allie had page and pages of notes from coaching programs she’d been in, but no clear cut way to sell her dream services. Through 4 months of weekly meetings, we created her site strategy, co-wrote her content and program offerings, developed her brand and writing tone.  

This project involved a lot of research beforehand on what issues came up on her old website that caused her content to be flagged. We realized it may be the heavy emphasis she had on weight loss, so we built up a strategy for her that focused on the power and feeling of accomplishment that comes with reaching your weight loss goals. 

The other thing we decided on was to create fringe services as well as a full 12-session program. This involved taking pieces of her larger program and offering them as single services, so if a visitor was on the fence about booking the program, they could try out some of the most effective services a la carte. 

At the end of the project we relaunched eatcleanfeelbetter.com and full control of the site was handed over. Because the site uses the Divi Theme, Allie was able to take over all of the front-end editing of her website through the drag and drop visual editor.
