This project was made in collaboration with Colombia Diversa, a non-profit organization that works for the recognition and
defense of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights in Colombia.
They provided us with the results of their 2016 LGBT School Climate Survey in Colombia. The first one made in Colombia of this magnitude aimed specifically at students between the ages of 13 and 20 who identified themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans, among other identities, and who had attended school during 2015.
The final sample consisted of a total of 581 LGBT students between 13 and 20 years of age (the average age was 16 years), from most departments in Colombia.
