Diwali is an Indian festival celebrated throughout India in some form or other. It is a festival I am partial to as I have many sweet little memories attached to it. Here I share some of those nostalgic moments.
Diwali decorations included building tiny houses using bricks and clay..it would be a lot of hard work but loads of fun..my favourite part was the final decor with flowers and Diyas
Diwali meant tons of decor work which I would sneakily avoid by applying henna when my kin would be needing help!
Diwali was always incomplete without a Childishly made Rangoli which my sister and I will get done after some bickering and arguing.
When we were little, just before Diwali a huge bazaar would be set up on a local ground and I would love to accompany my dad to them..They would sell these Sugar toy Animals of various shapes and sizes...Dad wouldn’t want me to take them as it invariably means I would sugar rush the house down!
