Data shows that rural states suffer from the most opioid abuse in the nation. Most small towns don’t have hospitals or treatment centers to help those in need. Even if you had the help close by, the stigma of getting treatment is overwhelming and that crippling fear is multiplied in a small town. Everyone knows your business and will notice if you’re at a treatment center.

This was the challenge presented to us by the Arkansas Delta Rural Health Partnership, earlier this year. We came together and produced a documentary, full of real stories, hoping to encourage support around the state.
