Exchange Party is a party for international students in Amsterdam and other cities and is the biggest student party in the Netherlands. The identity and logo are based on the clash of two different cultures/nationalities/colors. The "X" of "Exchange" symbolizes a connection and exchange while also forming a confetti symbol. For every event there's another color combination possible to emphasize the diversity and internationality of the events. For the campaign images we took the concept even one step further and created posters and social media material based of two real fruits/objects of different countries creating imagery with a wink and some sensuality, screaming: "let's get physical!".
A simple and strong symbol, based on 'exchange' and 'connecting' forming a confetti symbol.
Instead of choosing a small palet of colors, we choose for a variety of colors emphasizing the diversity and internationality.
The logo can be in different colors making it continually surprising and making it possible to give every event it's own face while still holding recognizability.
Based on the typography of the logo a full custom font was created to give every item that would be created the same recognizability as the logo, without using the logo!
