Mila + packaging = a match made in heaven. The art history professor-turned-freelancer joined 99designs in 2013, and has since found happiness (and loads of success) creating packaging designs that are perfectly suited to her lovely, unique style.
Packaging is Mila's favorite. It allows her to combine her favorite aspects of logo design, illustration and typography in one neat deliverable. She draws much of her inspiration from historical art, as evidenced by the intricate flourishes and detailed line work that make up her designs. But she always tries to use these elements in contemporary ways, describing her style as "modern vintage". It lends itself to everything from bottle labels, to chocolate bars to coffee cups—anything, really. We're all fans.
