Bernie's Burger Bus is a burger staple in Houston. They've been winning awards and customers' hearts since 2010. Bernie's got their start as a food truck, serving from-scratch burgers, hand-cut fries, and handmade condiments from an old, repurposed school bus. Rumor has it, they were one of the very first food trucks in Houston. Since then, they've grown to three physical restaurants (with a fourth on the way)! We were hired to conceptualize, direct, and photograph some new menu items at their Heights location.

The Bernie's location in The Heights has a really cool interior. Staying true to their food truck roots, the decor has an authentic school theme. The main attraction being the real school bus facade that is the face of the kitchen. The entrance to the restaurant is lined with lockers that are plastered in stickers and graffiti. We included these environmental elements into the photos.
