On researching the brand we learnt that the label itself recounted the story of the old Baillie Nicol Jarvie accosting someone with a red hot poker and a fiery temper. We embraced this grouchy attitude that seemed to resonate with our target audience and created a campaign that dealt with all the frustrations of modern life. 
 
One of the ads was voted as the Best Press Ad of the last 21 years by the Scottish public.
