Sian Ka'an Nature Interpretation Center
Located in an area with such rich wildlife and vegetation, the Sian Ka’an Nature Interpretation Center allows visitors to enjoy nature at all elevations. Sian Ka’an Biosphere is home to thousands of animals and plants, some who are only found in a few areas in the world. The design revolved around the importance of the differentiation in ecosystems based on elevations. Moreover, the building’s façade is designed to weather, camouflage within its environment, and ultimately create its own forest where animals and insects would feel inclined to inhabit, ultimately providing a closer encounter and deeper knowledge for visitors.
