For Inktober 2018 I decided to work to a theme. This was to make sure all the illustrations worked as a set but also so it was a little simpler to generate ideas. I was determined to finally complete a full month! I chose to use the prompt list to create a various cast of characters who would act as a fictional mercenaries in a fantasy world.

Each mercenary comes with its own backstory to help bring life to the character.
