"A clap of thunder shook the air.
Two dark clouds poured heavy rain.
Three areca palms bent under the wind.
Four banana trees drenched in the downpour.
Five young chickens hid under their mother's wings.
Six crabs went inside their holes.
Seven ducks floated in the river.
Eight storks stood still in the rice paddies.
Nine rows of cabbages spread to the horizon.
Ten coconut trees remained high and mighty.
Eleven metal roofing sheets covered each other's leaks.
Twelve wooden doors braced themselves.
Thirteen tables were put together.
Fourteen chairs were followed suit.
Fifteen children attended their class."
