The Yu-Gi-Oh Commercial I made was to promote the new cards and reprints available in the 2017 tins. This was made in the maker studio at ASU Tempe with a green screen to allow greater control on the background and editing I wanted to do for the commercial. The commercial used visual elements from the TV show while also using the brand and elements from the card game to create effects for the duel. The actor was my friend from Glendale Community College that I played Yu-Gi-Oh with in the past so he knew the material for this commercial. The camera man is my friend from the animation degree at Glendale Community College that has experience using cameras to film projects. This project required an exquisite amount of elements for the editing portion of the project. Fade in and fade out was one of the effects I used the most for cards and the white flash on the cards. The majority of time spent on the commercial was on editing since that is where most of the visuals came from besides the footage. I made the storyboard for the commercial before filming the project that way the script was finalized so we knew what to say and do beforehand.
