Short animated movie about a girl that just wants to celebrate her birthday with her family.
My part in this project was the background-creation. The animation was completely two dimensional, so the background had to fulfil a big requirement: creating depth, without the use of three dimensional elements.
The final work consists of fully two dimensional illustrations, but with a fake 3d-effect.
