I made this illustration for the project "Richmond First World War Stories". The project aimed to unearth the WWI stories from the fourteen villages of Richmond that were previously untold. Since 1921 the British Legion Poppy Factory has been producing silk poppies in commemoration of those who had fallen during the Great War. https://ww1richmond.wordpress.com/about/
