UX & UI Taskly App

Taskly - Project and Task Management App

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The aim was to create a new task and project management app, including extensive market and user research, prototyping, wireframing, and user testings.

Problem
Research findings have shown, that one of the most important features for users, for example are to be able to synchronize their task management app with their ical or Google calendar. None of the current apps on the market proved to be very satisfying in this regard.

Solution
Taskly, a responsive web app was created to satisfy users needs.

APPROACH
01 THE MARKET

02 THE USER
Following a market analysis, ideas for first features of the app have been generated, which then have been tested with the help of qualitative USER INTERVIEWS, as well as USER SURVEYS.

Based on the findings during user research, 3 personas have been created for TASKLY, to stay on the right track, when designing for users needs.

In a next step, a task model as well as user experience map have been created, to better understand Taskly's role, and how the app could support the user with each step of the user flow.
03 FIRST DESIGNS
Paper Prototypes
Based on all the previous findings, in a next step, the first paper prototypes were developed, to be test the user flow with 3 target users.

Wireframes
Further user testing has been conducted, using the first wireframes which have been developed as a result of the paper prototype findings. For testing, both interactive- and non-interactive prototypes have been used.

05 FINAL DESIGNS
Working with preference (A/B tests) as well as click tests, the final designs for Taskly have been developed.
