SHUKKEIEN GARDEN. HIROSHIMA

The Shukkeien garden dates back to 1620, created shortly after the completion of the original Hiroshima Castle. The garden contains several Tea Houses, where you can enjoy Tea while taking in the beautiful views. The path will run through the entire garden, giving you the experience of a traditional Japanese Gardens. The pond is filled with carp fish where you can find small boxes containing fish food, for 100 yen (a little less than a $1) you can feed the carp, which was quite the experience. I had never seen so many fish in one place, loudly smacking their mouths as they splashed out of the water to be feed. The garden is absolutely breath taking, the perfect walk to unwind and relax.
