The corridor between these two mountains leads up to Asgaard Pass, where one can enter the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.  There are 42 hikers hiking up to Asgaard Pass in this photograph.   I mention this just to give a sense of scale to the size of these peaks.  The hike up this corridor is 8/10 of a mile with a 2,208 foot gain in altitude.  Asgaard Pass is 7,812 feet in elevation.
