Traditional and modern fonts differ in many ways, some people will create random fonts that they feel look good or sometimes do it to show the craziest way to create a font. While in the early days of font design people were a lot more careful to create a readable and elegant font that could be used on a mass scale. This project was created to illustrate a book on two different fonts: Avenir as the traditional font, and Vollkorn as the modern font, to help show the differences between these two fonts and what makes them usable fonts today.
