Красная карта – это местный дисконтный проект. Одна карта позволяет владельцу получать скидки в более чем 200 заведенях города. Это кафе, магазины, заправки, спорт-клубы и пр. Вместе с клиентом мы решили создать проект с Русской душой. Проект, который вызвал бы тёплые чувства и добрые эмоций. Для этого, в качестве основного мотива, была выбрана красная вишивка крестом. В этой технике нарисованы иллюстраций основных направлений скидок, декоративные элементы и сам логотип программы.
Red Card is a local discount project in Tyumen. Customers get a discount at over than 200 places with one and the same card. There are stores, gas stations, restaurants, cinemas, cafés etc. My client and me decided to create a product with russian soul, that would be perceived like something warm and full of good old traditions. So I've used the Russian red-cross stitching style for identity.
The whole idea looks quite organic because the name of the card – «Red Card» – has an additional interpretation, easily traced by russian people (in Old Russian 'red' meant 'beautiful', and we still use lots of expressions and idioms with this meaning of the word). So, the grafics and the name together form the integrity of the perception: red card+red stiching= a beautiful and traditional product.
