The design choice is about what represents me. First, I went with a classic film noir theme by make the entire collage black & white and by using polaroids. Second, The images I used were logos of forms of media and entertainment that I use daily and of my favorite things like a game console (Nintendo Switch w/ Zelda playing), book well my three favorite books (My Hero Academia/One Piece/Attack on Titan), drink (Coca-Cola), and music (Rap/Hip Hop). The picture of me helps tie in with it resembling a picture of the suspect from a distance. Finally, there is two hidden meanings in the collage being the paw prints which are representing my cats (Maybree & Jasmine) which are the most important things in my life and I added a fog to the foreground for two reasons which are a lot of detectives in the noir genre smoke and even though it is a bad habit I do vape which is something that represents me good or bad so I decided to put in.

The photo manipulations I made were:

I resized all the photos to fit the polaroids

I cropped the photo of me to make me more of the focus of the photo

I added a black & white filter to the entire collage

A new technique I learned was to grouping and linking the rectangles I used to make the polaroids then duplicating the group to make a complete polaroid, which saved me a lot of time.
