A Swiss man that arrived to Thailand for holidays six years ago, around 2012.
One year after he felt he had to come back.
He did that for four years.
On one of those trips he discovered Koh Chang - Ranong.
A small island in the Andaman Sea, West Coast.
Koh Chang. The island of the expats.
Peter has been living in Koh Chang for three years already.
Three summers and three winters.
Summers are quite nice, it rains once a day, cloudy sky, warm weather.
In winter, it rains all day long.
It can be raining for 3 weeks in a row, high humidity and his clothes will never dry.
The flora grows higher and steeper, and with it, so does the fauna. Dangerous animals come closer to the houses.
That is why, during the winter he lives alone in the island.
