Foot truck by Foot District
The Foot District Foot Truck for the Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon was spotted around Madrid! In anticipation of the Air Max 1/97 SW drop, we designed and drove a Foot District “Foot” Truck around the city of Madrid on March 23rd, making stops and updating our followers on Instagram on where we’d be. It was somewhat of a scavenger hunt for our Foot District followers to come to the Foot Truck in order to be one of the lucky recipients of a raffle ticket for our Slot Machine Raffle that we would hold the next day for a chance to buy the insanely-popular sneakers. It was stunning to see how within 30 seconds of announcing our last stop on our Instagram Stories, a crowd came running towards the truck, which was conveniently parked in the famous Bernabeu Stadium parking lot in Madrid (a site recognizable to most Madrileños). The line for the raffle tickets formed within minutes, and as the minutes went by, more and more followers joined the line in hopes to get a raffle ticket and hence a chance to win the right to purchase the Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoons. The uniquely-designed, colorful sneakers (and the unique person, Sean Wotherspoon) really were the perfect inspiration for Foot District to achieve such a distinctly fun and impressive operation. We thank all our followers for their enthusiasm and for the exciting atmosphere they contributed those two days! And, of course, thanks to Nike and Sean Wotherspoon!
