Kufam is a Arabic-Latin bilingual typeface originally commissioned by Khatt Foundation as part of the Typographic Matchmaking project. Kufam Arabic is inspired by 7th-century Kufi inscriptions and offers a basic ligature set, as well as a stylistic set for extended horizontals and contextual alternates for the returning “yeh.”

Currently available in 5 weights, Kufam supports Arabic and Persian scripts and is available for licensing from OurType.be.
