Cuben Fiber, Cordura® , metallic ripstop waist bag with Cobra quick-release buckle, designed to protect my camera and essentials during a trip to Namibia.
Cuben Fiber layered on top of durable Cordura® fabric was paired with coated zippers to protect my electronics from dust and sand, and the metallic ripstop reflects light and heat while remaining strong and lightweight. The expandable front pocket is lined with brushed fabric and lightly padded to protect a small camera. Internal mesh pockets help keep things organized, and a microfiber-lined phone pocket on the bag panel keeps my phone safe and protected. The perfect bag for a two week road trip through some of the most stunning (and abrasive!) landscapes I've visited.
Disclaimer: I am a huge fan of Cote&Ciel bags, especially because of their unique silhouettes and construction. For this month's project, I wanted to challenge myself and expand my knowledge of pattern-making, so I used this bag as an inspiration reference and attempted to emulate my favourite elements.
