I was the Art Director and Editor of "First, I Used to Build Giant Thorns," a 148-page book that collects letters, typed emails and text messages that were sent back and forth between the pro skateboarders Neil Blender and Stacy Peralta from 1983 through 2017. The book includes plenty of unseen artwork by Neil and Stacy, plus vintage photos and a few Powell-Peralta ads.
