ELECTRIC ZOO - THE BIG TEN
BRANDING
Made Up worked with Electric Zoo NY to create the identity for the 10th anniversary edition of the EDM festival.

The brief was to give the design a fun, celebratory aesthetic.​​​​​​​
At the early stages I was given free reign to create something entirely new for the brand.
I explored lots of ideas then selected a few to develop in more detail.
I picked one idea I felt was strongest and developed it further on paper. The client felt the design was too far from their existing brand at this stage so we worked together to bring the design more in line with the existing logotype.
I took the cursive 'electric' type from their logo and redrew with some added finesse, before playing with some 3D treatments. This was still considered a little radical from a brand perspective so we then looked at a more subtle treatment of the existing logotype that also felt fresh.
