I wanted to create a retro television logo. A generic square with dials and sometimes an antenna is used to signify a TV. The old box TVs were mainly from the 70's and 80's so this is where it inspired me to use the colors from that era.

For retro colors, blues, pinks, greens and yellows seemed to be the most popular. Colors that popped.

Retro: I wanted to create a retro looking TV logo. I wanted to add something even younger people could recognize as retro besides the television. Something that I remember from my childhood was the cheap frozen pops. I still see them being sold occasionally and not sure when they were first produced but when ever I do see them, I feel old.
