I always try to trade my creative talents while traveling. It keeps my mind working, I get nice experiences I could not have pay (like the time I went to Amazonia), I can travel longer and of course, I help people growing their businesses.
The projects I tend to do are a lot more simple that what I do in advertising agencies but the people I work with are as tough to charm as Creative Directors :)
