Science Now (http://www.sciencenow.studio/) is a multidisciplinary science & strategic design studio. We are a team of producers, scientists, artists and communicators specialising in various forms of science & technology communication. This Autumn we decided to do a mild brand refresh. We wanted something that would portray different layers of our work. From expert, domain knowledge, to the art of storytelling and unorthodox design - merged together.
For this reason we extended our core logo to incorporate variations that capture what we specialise in and do: from deep science and education, to space astronomy, urban innovation and science diplomacy. Applying procedural design we created an adaptable structure that would allow us to generate and modify a variation of brand images, be it in 2D or 3D. We finished with an internal toolkit that allows us to create custom based images - both static and animated - examples of which you can see below. Enjoy!
