This was our third semester midterm project under the key word of "Sanitarium" our task here was to develop our own understanding of the keyword handed and create a visual understanding and interpret it in a form of a play/live performance.
THE ART OF PSYCHOPATHS, CLEANESS TO THE EXTENT OF SICKNESS.
This was our main definition of our keyword. The installation was explaining how such a clean place (sanitarium) could be so ugly making you sick .Or a human that is extremely clean it is driving you sick... all the creepy disturbing music , the white costumes was all there to give you the atmosphere we planned . The idea of the white gowns and inner black cloth (skin) is to eliminate the fact that no matter how clean they are their souls would still remain filthy, black and dark inside .They then try to clean their insides with white paint .. ends up use less so they give up and leave....

After choosing our location, creating a mood board and a maquette of the scene was essential.
Posters where distributed evenly among all campus buildings. "Listen to the fountains at 4:00pm" where we imbedded speaker systems that got louder as you got closer to the location integrating sound with visuals had a strong impact on our final outcome.
